Parachute, CO

Parachute is a quiet Western Slope town of around 1,400 people, tucked along the Colorado River beneath the towering cliffs of the Roan Plateau. Situated right along Interstate 70, it sits roughly halfway between Grand Junction and Glenwood Springs. That midway location makes it an appealing option for commuters looking for lower housing costs while enjoying a relaxed, small-town pace with dramatic canyon views right outside their front door.
