Paradise, UT

Paradise is a Cache County town on Utah 165, about 12 miles south of Logan in the Logan, Utah–Idaho metropolitan area. The 2020 census counted 971 residents. Settlers arrived in 1860 looking for timber and water; a sawmill followed in 1861, and families moved from the earlier Old Paradise settlement to the present site after 1867. Fruit trees, a cooperative store, a meetinghouse, and a three-room brick school gave the town its early shape before incorporation in 1907. Today Paradise still reads as a small Cache Valley agricultural town set between Logan and the valley's foothills.

Utah 165 is the local thread, running through the town and tying it to the larger valley road network. The name came from the green, well-watered setting the first settlers were seeking, and the old timber, orchard, and schoolhouse story still gives the place its strongest local texture. Paradise's local scoop is a small Cache Valley town whose everyday map still follows Utah 165, with Logan just up the road and the foothills close by.
