About Park Forest

Park Forest is a village and southern suburb of Chicago in Cook County, Illinois, with a small portion extending into Will County. Originally designed by Loebl Schlossman and Bennett as a planned community for veterans returning from World War II, the community of approximately 21,000 is bordered by Olympia Fields to the north and University Park to the south. Public education is administered by Park Forest School District 163 and Rich Township High School District 227.
