Park Forest, IL

Park Forest is a peaceful suburb sitting roughly 30 miles south of downtown Chicago. Built in the late 1940s as an innovative planned community for returning veterans, the village was designed from scratch with daily convenience in mind. Curved residential streets loop around neighborhood schools, parks, and local shops, giving each pocket of town its own distinct feel. For commuters, Interstate 57 runs right past town, and nearby Metra stations make heading into the Loop straightforward.

The village boasts around 2,000 acres of parks, nature preserves, and recreation facilities, including the popular Park Forest Aqua Center and the scenic Old Plank Road Trail for biking.
