About Parker

Parker is a small Collin County city bordered by Allen, Plano, Murphy, and other fast-growing north Texas suburbs. The first settlers arrived in the area in the early 1840s, but modern Parker is best known as a spacious residential community within the Dallas-Fort Worth metro. Most of the city is served by Plano Independent School District, with a small portion in Allen ISD. Parker feels quieter and more spread out than its larger neighbors, with large homes, local roads, and suburban access.
