About Parma Heights

Parma Heights is a Cuyahoga County city southwest of Cleveland, part of the dense west-side suburban ring. The area was surveyed in 1806 by Abraham Tappan for the Connecticut Land Company, and modern Parma Heights remains tied to the Parma City School District. The Western Campus of Cuyahoga Community College gives the city an important education landmark. Parma Heights feels compact, practical, and very Cleveland-suburban, with brick houses, small lots, busy roads, and everyday services close together.
