Pecan Hill, TX

Pecan Hill is an Ellis County city just east of U.S. 77, about nine miles northeast of Waxahachie and roughly 24 miles south of downtown Dallas. It incorporated in the mid-1980s, and the city map is largely residential, with Red Oak bordering it to the north and Waxahachie to the southwest. Most of Pecan Hill is in Red Oak ISD, with some addresses in Waxahachie ISD. Pecan Hill is a North Texas place whose useful introduction is its position between the Dallas edge, Red Oak, and the county seat.
