Penngrove, CA

Penngrove is a census-designated place in Sonoma County, California, situated between Petaluma and Cotati at the foot of Sonoma Mountain. Part of the North Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area, the community of approximately 2,100 occupies land from the historic Rancho Cotate Mexican land grant of 1844. An annual Fourth of July parade organized by the Penngrove Social Firemen remains a beloved local tradition dating back to the nineteenth century.
