About Perkins

Perkins is a city in southern Payne County, Oklahoma, situated on the north bank of the Cimarron River. Founded during the Land Run of 1889 and serving as the headquarters of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma, the growing residential community of approximately 3,262 is served by the Perkins-Tryon School District for public K-12 education locally.
