About Peru

Peru is a city and the county seat of Miami County, Indiana, situated along the Wabash River. Historically inhabited by the Miami people and home to the pioneering early twentieth-century Model Automobile Company, the community of approximately 10,901 is located seventy-three miles north of Indianapolis and is served by the Peru Community Schools district.
