Petersville, AK

Petersville is a small census-designated place in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough of Alaska, situated within the outer reaches of the Anchorage metropolitan area. Bordered to the north by Denali National Park and Preserve and to the west by the Kahiltna River, this remote settlement had a population of twenty-seven at the 2020 census. Trapper Creek lies directly to the east, making the area a key base for backcountry wilderness exploration.
