Pimmit Hills is a Fairfax County census-designated place tucked into the busy triangle formed by Interstate 495, Interstate 66, and Route 7. It sits close to Tysons, Falls Church, and major Northern Virginia job centers, which makes its location the main story. The neighborhood began with modest postwar homes, and many streets still have a leafy residential feel, including mature oaks and tulip trees, even as redevelopment and larger new houses have changed parts of the area.
