Plandome Heights, NY

Set along Long Island's North Shore, Plandome Heights is a quiet village of around a thousand residents. Much of the community was developed in the early twentieth century, giving the neighborhood a distinctive look with historic Spanish-style houses scattered among traditional suburban homes. As the southernmost of the three Plandome villages, it offers a relaxed, purely residential setting right next door to Manhasset.

Families are often drawn by the top-ranked Manhasset schools, while commuters appreciate having nearby Long Island Rail Road stations for quick trips into Manhattan. Everyday errands and dining are easy thanks to the local spots along Plandome Road and Northern Boulevard, and Manhasset Bay is close by for water views and weekend outings. It makes for a welcoming, well-connected community with a true small-town feel.
