Point MacKenzie, AK

Point MacKenzie is a developing census-designated place in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough of Alaska, situated across the Knik Arm from Anchorage. Part of the Anchorage metropolitan area, the community grew to over 1,800 residents by the 2020 census. The area has historical significance to the Cook Inlet Dena'ina Athabascans as a trade site where they exchanged goods with the Dghelay Teht'ana people of the Talkeetna Mountains.
