Polk, OH

Polk was founded in the late 1840s as an agricultural hub, and much of that historic character is still visible around town today. The village's most recognizable landmark is the old Polk Feed & Supply building, an 1880s steam flour mill that was restored in the 1990s to help preserve local records and memorabilia. Between the older homes along Main Street and the open acreage just outside town, Polk gives newcomers a genuine small-town atmosphere with plenty of elbow room and a strong sense of local pride.
