Powhatan Point, OH

Powhatan Point is a quiet riverfront village in eastern Ohio, tucked along the Ohio River right where Captina Creek flows into the water. Home to around 1,500 residents, it offers a relaxed, small-town feel surrounded by steep Appalachian hills and wide water views. Located in southern Belmont County, it sits just south of Wheeling and across the river from Moundsville, making it a peaceful home base that is still an easy drive from regional jobs and everyday shopping.
