Prospect, KY

Prospect is a home rule-class city in Jefferson and Oldham counties, Kentucky, situated along the Ohio River as part of the Louisville Metro government. Once known as Sand Hill and later named for a railroad station built by the Louisville, Harrods Creek and Westport Railway, the community of approximately 4,500 is consistently ranked among the wealthiest communities in Kentucky. Public education is provided by the Jefferson County Public Schools.
