Raceland, KY

Raceland really did get its name from horse racing. Originally incorporated as Chinville in 1915, the town renamed itself after a popular 1920s thoroughbred racetrack that once drew crowds from across the region. Today, this quiet community sits along the Ohio River in Greenup County.
