Reardan, WA

Reardan is a Lincoln County town on the divide between the Columbia and Spokane drainage basins. U.S. 2 runs through as Broadway, Audubon Lake sits at the north edge and feeds the headwaters of Crab Creek, and the Inland Northwest Rail Museum keeps regional railroad history close to town. Reardan incorporated in 1903, but Mule Days reaches back to 1904 and still gives the calendar its signature event. This is eastern Washington in a wheat-country crossroads shape, with birds, trains, and mules all sharing the map.
