Redford, TX

Redford is a tiny, remote community of around 40 residents set along the Rio Grande in far West Texas, right on scenic Farm to Market Road 170 near Big Bend Ranch State Park. Founded in the late 1800s under the name El Polvo, or "the dust," the settlement began as a small riverfront farming and trading post. Today, it remains an exceptionally quiet desert outpost where daily life revolves around wide open spaces, rugged mountain backdrops, and true West Texas solitude.
