About Ridgewood

Ridgewood is a census-designated place in eastern Hamilton County, Ohio, tucked into Columbia Township beside Cincinnati. The 2020 census counted 506 residents in a compact 0.08-square-mile neighborhood. Amberley Village borders it to the north and east, Pleasant Ridge to the south, and Golf Manor to the west. That tight border map gives Ridgewood a distinctly Cincinnati setting even though it is not inside the city. Two hundred ten homes make up the neighborhood, with Ronald Reagan Highway, I-71, and I-75 close by.

The Ridgewood Civic Association is the neighborhood’s main organizing circle, handling a calendar and local voice for a pocket of Columbia Township. Pleasant Ridge’s business and entertainment district is less than a mile away, downtown Cincinnati is an easy regional destination, and Metro service sits a few blocks from the homes. Pleasant Ridge Montessori serves the neighborhood, with Nativity School and TCP World Academy nearby. Ridgewood has the feel of a small residential island: gas-lit streets, close city access, neighboring villages, and township services all meet inside a very small Hamilton County footprint.
