River Bend, NC

River Bend is a quiet waterfront town along the Trent River, just a few minutes southwest of historic New Bern. Home to around 3,000 residents, the community was originally designed around a network of canals, an 18-hole golf course, and peaceful residential streets. Many homes sit right on the water with private backyard docks, making it a popular choice for boaters, paddlers, and anglers.

Day-to-day life here is relaxed and friendly, with neighbors often cruising the streets in street-legal golf carts. River Bend has its own parks, tennis and pickleball courts, and a community kayak launch, while major hospitals, big-box stores, and dining are an easy drive up US-17 in New Bern.
