About Riverview

Riverview is a suburban city in Wayne County, Michigan, situated along the Detroit River in the Downriver region. Incorporated in 1923 as a village and in 1959 as a city, the community of approximately 12,200 occupies the historic site of the 1812 Battle of Monguagon where Tecumseh fought. Zoned within the Riverview Community School District, the city features the scenic Young Patriot's Park.
