Rodney Village, DE

Rodney Village is a Kent County community just south of Dover, with the feel of a postwar neighborhood built around Dover Air Force Base. The subdivision was laid out in the mid-1950s and completed around 1960, as new housing followed the base's growth and the region's shift from open farmland to subdivisions. Its shopping center and ranch-style streets give it a different identity from old Dover's courthouse core, even though the capital city is right next door.
