About Roselle
Roselle is a Chicago suburb and village split between DuPage and Cook counties. It was incorporated in 1922 as a bedroom community, with its train stop helping connect residents to jobs in Chicago and nearby suburbs. The area has deeper farming roots, including early settlement in the 1830s and later corn and flax farms around Bloomingdale Township. Today Roselle has a small downtown near Park Street and Irving Park Road, commercial areas along Lake Street, and a local calling card in Lynfred Winery, established in 1979.
