Rotterdam, NY

Rotterdam is a town in Schenectady County, with the Mohawk River defining its northeast boundary. Its location near the eastern end of New York's old Heritage Corridor gave it a role as a "Gateway to the West," connected to the Mohawk Valley routes that shaped settlement and commerce. Today Rotterdam is a suburban and industrial town tied closely to Schenectady and the Capital Region.
