Rush Center is a quiet spot in central Kansas with around 140 residents and plenty of small-town charm. Founded in the 1870s along Walnut Creek, the town has a rich history that locals still celebrate, including a historic county-seat rivalry with neighboring La Crosse that is playfully re-enacted during the annual St. Patrick's Day parade.
