San Luis, AZ

San Luis is a Yuma County city on the U.S.-Mexico border, directly across from San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora. The city began in 1930 with the opening of a border-crossing station, and that border relationship still shapes its economy and daily movement. Retail trade, agriculture, and manufacturing are important locally, with Yuma and the lower Colorado River region nearby.
