Sanborn, MN

Sanborn is a city in Redwood County, Minnesota, United States. The 2020 census counted 323 residents. Sanborn was platted in 1881 and incorporated November 17, 1891. Sanborn was named in honor of Sherburn Sanborn, who for many years was an officer of the Chicago and Northwestern railway company. That mix gives Sanborn a clear local shape within Minnesota, with older layers still visible in current places.
