Santa Nella is a small community of around 2,200 residents in western Merced County, sitting right along Interstate 5 near the base of Pacheco Pass. Most Californians know it as a familiar highway stop packed with gas stations, hotels, and roadside restaurants, including the landmark windmill at Pea Soup Andersen's. Tucked just behind the busy travel corridor, quiet residential neighborhoods offer relatively affordable housing on the western edge of the Central Valley, with boating and fishing close by at San Luis Reservoir.
