Saugatuck, CT

Saugatuck is a census-designated place in Westport, in southwestern Connecticut. It sits on both sides of the Saugatuck River and extends south to the point where the river enters Long Island Sound, giving it a clear waterfront identity. Saugatuck has a distinct neighborhood feel within Westport, with train access, restaurants, river views, marinas, and older streets near the water. It is not a separate municipality, but it reads locally as one of Westport's most recognizable village areas.
