About Saugerties

Saugerties is an incorporated village in Ulster County, New York, situated on the west bank of the Hudson River at the mouth of Esopus Creek. First settled by George Meals and Richard Hayes in 1685, the historic community of approximately 3,884 is served by the Saugerties Central School District for public education.
