Scotchtown, NY

Scotchtown is a hamlet in the town of Wallkill, in Orange County. It has a suburban Hudson Valley feel, split among Pine Bush, Middletown, and Goshen school districts, which says a lot about its in-between geography. The Mills Industrial Park adds an employment and warehouse presence, while nearby Middletown provides much of the larger commercial context. Scotchtown feels residential and road-oriented, with subdivisions, schools, light industry, and New York metro exurban growth all sharing the same landscape.
