Cedar Creek Park gives Seaford a direct recreational link from an inland county park to the South Shore barrier beaches. The entrance to the bicycle path for Jones Beach and Tobay Beach sits inside the 259-acre park, alongside walking and cycling paths, athletic fields, basketball, tennis, pickleball, and handball courts. Less common facilities include a public archery range, an aerodrome for radio-controlled aircraft, a roller rink, and separate dog runs for large and small dogs. Farther south, Town of Hempstead’s Seamans Neck Park has a one-mile walking and bicycle loop, lighted paddleball, tennis, and pickleball courts, plus a fishing pier. Seaford’s other major connection runs east and west. Its Long Island Rail Road station is on the Babylon Branch, with scheduled service toward Jamaica, Penn Station, Grand Central, and Atlantic Terminal as well as eastern Long Island.
