About Sedalia
Sedalia is a city and the county seat of Pettis County, Missouri, situated approximately thirty miles south of the Missouri River. Located at the intersection of U.S. Routes 50 and 65, the city of approximately 22,000 is famous as the host of the annual Missouri State Fair and the Scott Joplin International Ragtime Festival. The community is home to the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art, located on the campus of State Fair Community College.
