About Seminole

Seminole is a Pinellas County city set inland from Indian Rocks Beach and the Gulf Coast. It is surrounded by other Pinellas communities and county enclaves, giving it a very connected, suburban feel rather than a standalone small-town one. The first white settlement in the area began in the 1840s, but modern Seminole is defined by neighborhoods, schools, shopping, parks, and quick access to beaches. It feels residential and nearby, with Gulf recreation close by but not directly on the sand.
