Sewickley Hills, PA

Sewickley Hills is an Allegheny County borough of 689 people at the 2020 census, about 11 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Founded in 1958, the borough covers roughly two and a half square miles of residential streets and rural agricultural land. It borders Bell Acres, Franklin Park, Ohio Township, Aleppo Township, and Sewickley Heights, so finding it means reading the Sewickley Valley as a cluster of neighboring municipalities, not one continuous town.

Quaker Valley School District serves the borough, and I-79 and I-279 provide the main regional routes toward Pittsburgh and the airport. The borough website places Sewickley Hills close to the cultural and sports life of the city while retaining its own council, roads, and tax offices. Franklin Park is the most useful nearby reference point, and Sewickley Heights sits along the western side. The place is a small North Hills suburb whose local character comes from the boundary lines, wooded roads, and the larger Sewickley Valley around them. Its small size is the point: the borough's boundaries preserve a separate municipal address within a heavily connected suburban valley.
