Silver Lakes, also known as Helendale, is a resort-style census-designated place in the Victor Valley of the Mojave Desert, located in San Bernardino County, California. Situated along historic Route 66 between Barstow and Victorville, the master-planned community of approximately 7,000 features two large artificial lakes supplied by the Mojave River.
