About Silverton
Silverton is a small Willamette Valley city on Silver Creek, known as the gateway to Silver Falls State Park. White settlers arrived along the creek in the 1800s, and the town grew into a local farm and service center with a strong historic core. Silver Falls and the Pudding River watershed give the area its outdoor setting, while the town itself has murals, older buildings, and a practical main street. Silverton feels artsy, agricultural, and close to some of Oregon's best waterfall country.
