Simonton Lake is a residential census-designated place in northern Elkhart County, Indiana, situated along the shores of its namesake lake near the Michigan border. Named in honor of nineteenth-century farmer Samuel Simonton, the community of approximately 4,248 is served by the Elkhart Community Schools district for public primary and secondary education for local students.
