Sligo, PA

Sligo is a quiet Clarion County borough nestled along the banks of Licking Creek. Home to just under 700 residents, the town offers a peaceful setting surrounded by scenic western Pennsylvania countryside. Route 68 runs right through the center of town, making it an easy 15-minute drive northeast to Clarion or about 20 minutes southwest to East Brady on the Allegheny River. While the area originally grew around 19th-century iron furnaces and coal mines, today it serves as a calm residential pocket with deep historic roots.
