Snake Creek, OK

Snake Creek is a census-designated place in Mayes County, Oklahoma, United States. The 2020 census counted 255 residents. Snake Creek is in southeastern Mayes County, bordered to the north by Little Rock, to the northeast by Rose, and to the southwest by Iron Post. Most of the southern border of the community is also the Cherokee County line. Snake Creek makes sense once you see how its past, landscape, and current gathering spots overlap. The useful thing to know about Snake Creek is that its older landmarks and current settings belong to one connected place. The entire CDP is within the watershed of the Neosho River.
