Somerset is a village in St. Croix County, Wisconsin, situated along the scenic Apple River. Named by General Samuel Harriman in honor of his father's English birthplace and famous for its seasonal Apple River tubing and camping tourism, the community of approximately 3,208 is served by the Somerset School District for local public education.
