It lies in South Florida’s Miami metropolitan area, about 17 miles southwest of downtown Miami. Cutler Bay borders the community on the east, Goulds on the south, Richmond West on the northwest, and West Perrine on the northeast; Thompson Memorial Park and Zoo Miami lie along its northern edge.
