South Venice, FL

South Venice is a Sarasota County census-designated place south of Venice and north of Englewood, with North Port inland to the east. It is mostly residential, with a practical coastal-suburban feel: neighborhoods, canals in some areas, local parks, and quick access to Gulf beaches without being directly in downtown Venice. The community is car-oriented and spread out, but the location is its strength.
