About St. Albans
St. Albans is a city and the shire town of Franklin County, Vermont, situated in the northwestern portion of the state. Known historically as the Rail City and hosting the annual Vermont Maple Festival each April, the community of approximately 6,954 is located fifteen miles south of the Canadian border. Public education is served by the St. Albans City School District.
