St. Francis, MN

St. Francis is a city in Anoka and Isanti counties, Minnesota, situated along the scenic Rum River in the northern Twin Cities metropolitan area. Named after Saint Francis of Assisi, the community of approximately 8,400 developed from an 1855 saw mill and dam founded by Dwight Woodbury. Traversed by Minnesota State Highway 47, the city is served by the St. Francis Area Schools system.
