Stagecoach is a quiet, spread-out rural community in northern Nevada's high desert, sitting along Highway 50 east of Dayton and Carson City. Home to around 1,900 residents, it got its name from its roots as a nineteenth-century stagecoach and Pony Express stop at Desert Well.
