Stapleton, AL

Stapleton is a quiet community in northern Baldwin County that offers plenty of open space and a relaxed, rural atmosphere. Sitting right where U.S. Route 31 meets State Route 59, it gives residents an easy drive north to Bay Minette for daily errands or south toward Spanish Fort and the coast. Originally founded in the late 19th century as a railroad stop called Canby, the area has held onto its small-town roots while keeping you within easy reach of the region's busier hubs.

Much of the local community revolves around Stapleton Elementary School. Every fall, the school grounds host the annual Stapleton Bluegrass Festival, a favorite neighborhood tradition and fundraiser that draws crowds for live music, food, and crafts. For families, students attend Stapleton Elementary before moving on to Bay Minette Middle and Baldwin County High School, giving the area a friendly, close-knit feel.
