Stapleton, NE

As the county seat of Logan County, Stapleton is a welcoming village situated at the crossroads of Highway 83 and Highway 92. The town grew around the Union Pacific railroad in the early 1900s, and today Main Street still anchors daily life. Residents grab essentials at the community-owned grocery store, stop by the courthouse, and gather for local events at the renovated community center. For anything beyond the basics, North Platte is an easy thirty-minute drive to the south.

Located right along the southern edge of the Nebraska Sandhills, Stapleton is surrounded by open cattle country and the headwaters of the South Loup River. It is a quiet, close-knit community of fewer than 300 people where neighbors naturally look out for each other.
