Starbrick, PA

Starbrick is a small, quiet community along Route 6, just a few minutes west of downtown Warren. Home to roughly 500 residents, it offers a relaxed, semi-rural feel while keeping everyday conveniences within easy reach. The area gets its unique name from the Star Brick Company, which opened in 1899. Workers used local clay to craft bricks stamped with a five-point star, supplying materials for Warren's turn-of-the-century building boom. You can still spot those star-stamped bricks in some of the historic masonry around town today.

Living in Starbrick gives you a peaceful neighborhood setting paired with a quick commute into the city, with local students attending the Warren County School District. Although the brickworks closed around 1908 after exhausting the clay pits, the company left behind a fun bit of local identity. Old neighborhood stories say kids used to pour melted lead into the star stamps to mold their own toy sheriff badges. Today, it remains an easygoing, convenient spot to settle down right on the edge of town.
